Dr. Beth Pieroth

Hey Guys (that’s Chicago speak for Hello Everyone!),

I’m a Board Certified Neuropsychologist and have been evaluating individuals with traumatic brain injury for 27 years (I started when I was 12 ).  I work with little ones all the way to the pros, but the kiddo athletes are my favorite!  I also have a Masters in Public Health because I am deeply committed to finding ways to educate the public on health & safety issues relevant to youth athletes.  I hope this podcast helps achieve that goal and you have as much fun listening as we did recording it.

I have been happily married for almost 25 years and we have two sons, ages 18 and 15.  It seems like they have played almost every sport out there, except soccer because it conflicted with hockey.  I think my husband wanted to put hockey skates on our boys before they could walk!  I love dogs (especially our rescue Maya), yoga, walking and just being outdoors when the unpredictable Chicago weather allows.

Dr. Lisa Nippoldt-Baca

I am a neuropsychologist who specializes in pediatrics and young adults, evaluating those with concussion and traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, cancer, attentional and learning disorders, autism, and emotional disorders. I am Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology and a Board Certified Subspecialist in Pediatric Neuropsychology. I am happily married and have two sons, ages 11 and 13, who are busy with fishing, hockey, baseball, football, golf, and shenanigans. When I'm not at the hockey rink or drowning in testosterone, you can find me watching trash tv and trying to find new hobbies. My favorite hobby is solving the world's problems with the amazing women and moms I've met, personally and professionally, throughout the years.

Dr. Sonia Mosch

Hello friends! My name is Dr. Sonia Mosch, coming to you from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where the winters are the worst but the people are the best (aka “Minnesota nice” aka “Minnesota passive/aggressive.”)

Seriously though, I love my work as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Sports Neuropsychologist. I work with pro athletes and also have a general neuropsychology practice where I see adults.  I am an empty nester with a son in college (How did that happen so fast?!). I love kittens and puppies and basically anything that seems adorable and helpless. I love dancing, a good Reisling, my friends, and the fabulous women colleagues with whom I get to gab with on DrMomCast nights. Welcome to the fun!

Dr. Summer Ott

Hey Y ’all!
I am a small-town girl at heart living in the 4th largest City in the U.S – Houston, TX.  I have been married for 22 years to Brandon, a military service member, and together, we are parenting two children, ages 7 and 13. As a working mom, I deeply understand the struggle to achieve a healthy work-life balance. For the past 12 years, I’ve worked as a clinical neuropsychologist and researcher in a large academic medical center, where I evaluate and treat athletes and non athletes of all ages. My research efforts have led to several publications that focus on sport related concussion in adolescents.  I am happiest surrounded by a freshly clean and decorated  house and cuddled up with my family watching a good movie. I lead with passion, laugh a lot, overshare, am a bit too neurotic about safety, and enjoy cake for breakfast without guilt! I believe that behind every good woman, there’s a group of other great women cheering her on!
